The Pachira Plant, also known as the Money Tree, is recognizable by its thick, swollen trunk (sometimes, braided) and lush, glossy leaves. They have a preference for bright, indirect light but is relatively tolerant of some degree of shade, and requires regular watering. With air-purifying properties, this is a great and easy to maintain plant to filter out harmful pollutants.

Fun fact - according to Feng Shui, the Money Tree is believed to attract positive energy, wealth, prosperity and abundance when placed in the home or office. Its distinctive braided trunk is thought to trap fortune within its folds, while the five leaves typically found on each stalk represent the five elements of balance: earth, fire, water, wind, and metal. At times, a stalk may grow seven leaves—an uncommon occurrence believed to bring extraordinary luck to its owne.
