HT - Basic Introduction
HT - Basic Introduction
Duration: 2 hours
The hand-tied bouquet is an artful gesture— a craft of quiet storytelling. In this introductory session, you’ll explore the grounding ritual of bouquet making using the spiral technique, where every stem is placed with intention, and the composition blooms with natural ease.
With a pre-selected palette of fresh seasonal blooms, we’ll guide you through the fundamentals of floral design and the art of wrapping, so your bouquet is as thoughtful in presentation as it is in construction.
What You’ll Learn
Basic principles of floral design: form, balance, movement etc.
Introduction to colour theory and palette composition
Introduction to seasonal floral types and pairings
Practical introduction and learning of spiral technique and bouquet mechanics
Wrapping techniques for a polished final presentation
All tools and materials are provided (including some light refreshments and drinks), and no prior floral experience is necessary. You'll leave with a bouquet crafted by your own hands, ready to gift or simply admire.
Please Note:
A minimum of 4 participants is needed to start the class; max 6 per session for a cosy experience.
Photos are for illustration—actual blooms may vary with the season, but they’ll be just as lovely.
